Passports and flight bookings!

JESUS WEPT! WE HAVE BOOKED OUR FLIGHTS!

No turning back on it now we are going to New Zealand and then we jet off to Australia before heading home. Our flights are not until early next year but we have plenty of things to think about. All of the things I’ve thought about: prams, baby seats, jet lag with a baby and someone said the other day what about the change in times and feeding solids……… well bugger, that hadn’t actually crossed my mind so any thoughts or tips please leave a comment!

Heidi will be 1 so likely moving more than she is now, so we have booked an overnight flight and seats at the front of a section of the plane giving us plenty of space and Dan is also booking the bassinet….. Dan if you are reading this please hurry up and book the bassinet :-) We have one stop over in Dubai for a few hours. If I am coming across as easy and laid back about this I can assure you I am actually shitting a brick. But do something that scares the pants off you at least once a year, this year’s ‘scare pants off’ was having a baby and just to add the spice, really go for full on fright, make it really interesting and have her 9 weeks and a day early. That’s enough for this year so a long haul flight will be a piece of cake in comparison….. she types, naively.
